Affirmations are very powerful statements that you repeat IN THE PRESENT TENSE over and over again to create a certain situation. The longer you repeat the above affirmation, the more it will sink in, and the more you will believe it. That is when it begins to work. In this case, you want to be able to let your lost love go. It is strongly recommended that you repeat your releasing affirmation 1/2 to 1 hour a day over and over again WITHOUT SKIPPING A DAY for about 21 days straight. If you miss a day, START OVER AGAIN. It may seem like a lot of energy to put into your affirmations everyday, but you will want to keep repeating the affirmation in order for it to work. I recommend that you repeat your affirmation in the shower, while you are getting dressed, shaving, doing your hair, driving, cooking, cleaning, vacuuming, etc. The time will go by very fast.

Here is a great exercise for you to do in the shower. As the water from the shower flows onto your body, close your eyes. While your eyes are closed, repeat your affirmation out loud, and imagine the water from the shower is cleansing and freeing of his or her energy. Imagine all that energy going down the drain.

After repeating the affirmation for awhile, you may begin to feel his energy, because unconsciously he or she will feel you pulling away. DO NOT STOP THE AFFIRMATION. Keep repeating the affirmation, and eventually the energy will subside.

HOW WILL YOU KNOW WHEN IT IS TIME TO STOP, AND YOU HAVE RELEASED HIM OR HER?

It will feel like a heavy burden has been lifted from your shoulders, and you will feel so much lighter. . When this happens, either your lost love will return or a new love will come in.
